Japanese Red-crownded crane chicks, 2023

I created this piece as I pray all over the world could be peaceful.I really hope that peace could be restored in the Ukraine.

The couple of paper cranes are flying in prayer for love and peace.

I created this piece as I pray that people,animals and plants all over the world will live happily in peace on the beautiful earth.The pair of paper cranes fly while sparkling light of the happiness.I portrayed the love with ribbon flowers around the earth.

When the whole earth is filled with more love ,we all will live in peace.

I created this piece as I hope that people all over the world prevent global warming and animals,plants and humans live happily in a mild climate.

The sun rises and sets everyday.In this same way,happiness and sadness,success and failiure are inevitable in everyone’s life.

Sadness and pain from another perspective are learned lessns and realized epiphanies.When you overcome difficulties,a happy future will be waiting for you.

There is happiness because there is suffering.

Good or bad,all experiences are lessons to help grow your soul.By accepting all experiences you become a shining beacon of love.

Nobody is perfect.Your soul shines when you accept each other’s differences and harmonize with each other.

I hope to express this “ Harmony”through this embroidery

Before the big bang,everything was one.

The earth,the sea and the stars all connected as one.

Humans,animals and plants all connected as one.

Our planet,the sun and the moon all connected as one.

The universe connects us all like a web.

We are dear,unique and irreplaceable to the universe.The universe knows no ethnicity,nationality or culture.It cares not for your income,status or fame.Your past or future,your failures and successes;The universe is blind to what a man possesses.

I pray that the universe will be filled will more love.I hope to express this"Oneness"through this embroidery

I read Klara and the Sun, by Kazuo Ishiguro while I was in the hospital to take a surgery for endometrial polyp.

I was really moved by that book, so I decided to create this embroidery.The Sun is an important character throughout the book and my favorite scene is when two characters, Coffee Cup Lady and the Raincoat Man embraced as if they had not met for a long time.

In this embroidery piece there are two mice and the Sun.They deeply love each other and have finally met after all this time,under the sun which is smiling down on them.

I chose mice because they are cute and I love the Peter Rabbit series.

In the same way I was moved by the book, I hope my work can do the same.

The cherry blossoms and the white eye, 2021

The theme of this embroidery is Japonism as the traditional Japanese art.l portrayed the coming of spring and a new journey using image of a white eye bird and the cherry blossoms. I hope you can enjoy Japanese spring anytime and anywhere

Paradise of Happiness, 2020, size30×30cm

I worked on this piece as l prayed that all animals,plants and humans live happily.l have used the image of paper cranes,stumpwork flower and goldwork circles to express peace.

ln Japan,Origami cranes are a symbol of peace and happiness,and l tried to make the stumpwork flower represent the sun.Also,when the hearts on the side of the two paper cranes are combined,it becomes a circle.l tried to make each heart represent a shining heart.When the hearts are combined,it becomes a shinier round heart.

I hoped that all animals and plants and humans live happy,and worked on this piece.When happy feeling of around the world increase,they gather and will be a big heart which can overcome anything.

Towards a happy future, 2020, size30×30cm

During the lockdown,I worked on this piece as I prayed for a happy future.I prayed that all animals,plants,and humans live happily and that whole earth is filled with more love.
