I am Kana Sanse.I was born in Himeji-city,Hyogo,Japan where the World Heritage Site Himeji Castle is located.
I started working on embroidery in 2014.At first I started by selling small pieces of embroidery in 2015,and in 2018 I started focusing more seriously on embroidery as an art form.
In 2018 my work " the cherry blossoms and the white eye bird″was selected by the AJC creators collection and exhibited in the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum. This experience allowed me to see the selected works of other artists which inspired me to dedicate my life to embroidery.I use my experience and emotions as the basis of my embroidery.
Since then I have been working tirelessly on embroidery, broadening my horizons to include a variety of other techniques such as silk shading, ribbon embroidery and stumpwork.
I hope you enjoy my works.
In February 2019,my work was displayed in 32nd Salon International de Paris at Espace Commines.
In August 2019,my work was exhibited in the 20th The France-Japan Multinational Contemporary Art Exhibition at the National Art Center,Tokyo.
